How Long Does an Escape Room Experience Last?
Your mission lasts 60 minutes, but plan to be at REACT for about 90 minutes total. This includes check-in, rules and story briefing, your full escape room adventure, and post-game photos and debrief. We want you to enjoy the full experience without feeling rushed.
How Many Players Can Participate?
One of the things that makes REACT unique is our large-scale rooms. We are one of the largest escape rooms in New England and can accommodate bigger groups than most venues. Most of our rooms comfortably hold up to 10 players, while our larger adventures can host up to 15 players in a single room. Have more than 15 players? No problem — we can split your group across multiple rooms playing simultaneously.
Our recommended maximum capacity at one time is 65 players utilizing all five rooms at once, making REACT perfect for large corporate events, school outings, and group celebrations. We’ve even successfully hosted groups of 200+ players by rotating teams through different start times.
We regularly host small teams (2–6 players), medium groups (8–15 players), and large groups (20+ players split across rooms) for corporate team building, birthday parties, school groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and family outings. If you’re planning a large event, our team will help you organize schedules and room assignments to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
Are Escape Rooms Scary?
Not at REACT. While our rooms are immersive and cinematic, we do not use jump scares or actors. Some rooms may have dim lighting or dramatic sound effects, but nothing is designed to frighten players. Our goal is adventure, not horror.
What Ages Can Play?
We love welcoming players of all ages at REACT. Our escape rooms are designed to be fun, engaging, and immersive for a wide range of age groups. The recommended age is 10+, players under 16 must have an adult on the premises, and younger children are absolutely welcome to join.
For families bringing younger players, please keep in mind that some puzzles are designed with teens and adults in mind — children are encouraged to participate, but there may be moments where they observe more than actively solve.

Do We Need Special Skills or Experience?
Not at all. You don’t need math skills, physical strength, or prior escape room experience. Our rooms are designed so everyone can contribute. What Happens If We Get Stuck?
You’re never truly “stuck.” Our Reactors (Game Masters) monitor your progress and can provide hints when needed. We want the experience to be challenging but fun, not frustrating. You control how much help you receive.
Is It a Private Experience?
Yes — always. When you book at REACT, your group gets the room to yourselves. You will never be paired with strangers. This makes the experience more comfortable and personal for your group.
How Much Does It Cost?
Our pricing is simple and transparent — no hidden fees, no surprises. Rates are based on the number of players in your group, so you only pay for those who are actually playing. To reserve your adventure, we require a $29 refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due on the day of your game.
Minimum Booking Rates (2-player minimum): Weekdays — $99 minimum. Weekends (Friday–Sunday) — $139 minimum.
Per-Person Pricing: $30 per person. Groups of 8–12 save $20. Groups of 12+ save $40.
Not sure how many players will attend? You can easily update your group size anytime using the View/Change button in your confirmation email. We’ll adjust your total at check-in so you’re only charged for who shows up. What Should We Wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may be walking, bending, reaching, and exploring multiple rooms. No costumes or special attire required — unless you want to dress up for fun.
Can We Bring Food or Drinks?
To help protect our sets, props, and puzzles, we kindly ask that no food or drinks be brought into the escape rooms themselves. Many of our games include hands-on elements, electronics, and detailed set pieces, so keeping them clean ensures the best experience for everyone.
VIP players may enjoy BYOB privileges, and if you rent our party space, you are welcome to bring any food or drinks you’d like. REACT is also conveniently located near many great restaurants — just ask and our team is happy to suggest local favorites.
